A 0.9 mil TUF-R® flat bag is a clear, bottom-sealed bag made from linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) at a 0.9 mil (22.86 micron) gauge. TUF-R® stands for "Tougher Resin" — the LLDPE blend gives the bag the tear and puncture resistance of a heavier 1.0 to 1.25 mil LDPE bag while using less plastic. Bags are open-top flat bags with no closure, sold by the case for retail, food, industrial and healthcare packaging.
